Why CNC3 Kicks So Much A*S - New Details & Videos

Four great new videos were released on Gamespot including a video from their developer talking about some kick a*s features of the game. The latest videos have a lot of sexy hot Alien penetration action. Seriously they are not holding back on anything so far; read below to learn about features that you will wish other mutli player games had.

Cool Facts:
Stances:

- Each unit has 4 different stances from aggressive to passive (hold fire)

- You can set these stances not from only the units but from the buildings that create these units. So you can have your boys all amped up right out the door.

Directional Fire:
Most units will have more armor up front and less armor to the sides and even less to the rear. This introduces the logic that you want your units to face incoming fire versus take it in the rear and get killed faster. The cool aspect to CNC3 is that you can order your units to face a direction and then backup while firing. More realistic and it should serve to look pretty slick in the game. The flip side is that you will position your units accordingly when taking up defensive postures against an attack.

Aliens:

- They do not need silos. NO CAPS ON THEIR MONEY
- They also get more money per Tiberium Charge than NOD and GDI
- They can reseed any Tiberium Field that they want so they will never run out of Tiberium
- They build units and vehicles at a much faster rate than GDI and NOD allowing them to overwhealm their enemy.

Who will Play Alien:
- The more "hardcore rusher aggressive player" will flock to Alien

New Features:

- EA is making some moves to open up RTS more as a sport. The game will allow spectators and observers to really enjoy watching other people play. They even have it so people can act as commentators calling out the game highlights play by play. The better commentators can gain popularity over time or at least it was implied there was a system in place to track this.

- Voice over IP will be tied into the game.
- Use of something like a "Telestrator" will be available for commentators.
- Free spectator client will be available for download.
